Emma Percasky is a learning support teacher at Sinai College. She also teaches the Senior Class on a part time basis. Emma started working at Sinai College in 2015. She has previously taught from Pre-Prep through to Year 1. Emma has recently rejoined Sinai College after the birth of her sons Beau and Jai.
Emma began her teaching career in New Zealand where she studied at the University of Canterbury in Christchurch. She gained a Bachelor of Teaching and Learning in Early Childhood. Emma worked in a small private kindergarten which is where she developed her passion for inquiry based teaching and learning.
Together with her husband Tom, they travelled to South Korea where they taught in a bilingual immersion primary school. From there, they lived in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam, for 6 years. She taught at the Australian International School with kindergarten and Year 1 students. Emma also held an assistant curriculum coordinator position helping to develop inquiry based units of work.
Emma has a passion for inquiry based learning and enjoys the experience of being involved in each child’s learning journey.
Emma enjoys the outdoors and spending time with her family and friends.
